The Memory Lab, consisting of two dedicated rooms, located in the Emerson History and Genealogy Center on the 2nd floor of the Clark Family Branch is a do-it-yourself digitization space where you can convert your memories into digital format.

Scope of Collection

Items chosen for the collection are evaluated for their genealogical or historical content and their practical long-term value for preservation and access.

North American resources include thirty-two US states, Canada, and Mexico as well as a vast number of published family histories.

European coverage includes resources for Northern, Western, Southern and Central Europe. The collection is nationally known for the acquisition, preservation, and access to the following unique resources:

  • Victoria County Histories
  • Parish and Memorial Transcriptions
