Middle Grade Reads Night Presents Three Popular Authors!
St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Reading Garden Series for Young Audiences and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host three sensationally popular authors of middle grade literature: James Ponti, Natalie Lloyd and Soman Chainani. After School Meals
Operation Food Search will provide after school meals Monday-Friday at four branches during the 2024-25 school year beginning on August 19. Stop by after school and enjoy a nutritious meal along with activities for kids. Meals must be eaten on-site and will be available free of charge for children ages 5-18.

David Wroblewski Presents the Long-Awaited Prequel to “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle”
St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host acclaimed novelist David Wroblewski for a signing and discussion of “Familiaris,” the long-awaited prequel to his beloved novel “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.” The event will take place on Monday, August 26, 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. Coding 101
Coding 101 is a four-week workshop that teaches kids ages 10-14 basic programming skills. Upon graduation, students receive a Chromebook and a t-shirt. In order to be eligible to earn a free computer, participants must attend every class. Participants will be chosen by lottery. Entries accepted August 12-19, 2024.
