After School Meals
Operation Food Search will provide after school meals at four branches beginning on August 19: Lewis & Clark, Natural Bridge, Prairie Commons, and Weber Road.

Born to Read
The Born to Read program provides new parents at participating hospitals and clinics in St. Louis County with a bag containing a book and early literacy information, as well as other items.

COVID-19 Test Kits
COVID-19 test kits from the St. Louis County Department of Public Health are available at nine branches. Kits can be picked up at the circulation desk during regular library hours.

Diaper Distribution
St. Louis County Library is partnering with the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank to provide families in need with a supply of diapers and training pants for children ages 3 and under each month at select library branches.

Eye Thrive Mobile Vision Clinic
Eye Thrive will offer free eye exams and glasses at the Lewis & Clark Branch in November. Any child age 4-18 is eligible for an eye exam and glasses.

Gun Locks
Gun Locks from the Lock It for Love program of Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice are available upon request at select branches. The locks are free of charge and come with information about safe firearm storage.

Social Worker Services
Social workers are available at six branches to provide free one-on-one advising and assistance to connect patrons with vital resources and referrals to service providers in the community. Assistance on a wide range of topics is available including: childcare, housing insecurity, food insecurity, medical assistance, domestic violence, mental health, parenting resources, senior resources, and substance abuse
