SLCL and the Kranzberg Arts Foundation invite you to dive into the heart of American music by enjoying live, unplugged performances at the Florissant Valley Branch. Music Mondays Unplugged is a new program series that will connect the past and present of St. Louis' deep musical roots.

St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor present acclaimed novelist, poet, and National Book Award-winner Elizabeth Acevedo for her novel, “Family Lore.” The event will take place on Monday, June 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from The Novel Neighbor.

Summer Lunches Monday-Friday 12:00-1:00 p.m.

SLCL and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide lunches to children this summer at select SLCL locations through August 16, 2024. Nine SLCL branches offer a nutritious lunch along with activities for kids ages 18 and under from 12:00–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Pizza will be provided on Fridays, sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation.

St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and Left Bank Books present bestselling horror author Paul Tremblay for a discussion and signing of his latest novel “Horror Movie.” Tremblay will be in conversation with St. Louis based horror writer, S.L. Coney, author of “Wild Spaces.” The event will take place on Friday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from Left Bank Books.
