The Clark Family has made a $4 million donation to the St. Louis County Library and St. Louis County Library Foundation to be used toward the new library branch in Ladue. The new branch, to be named the Clark Family Branch, is expected to be completed in late 2023 and will replace the current Headquarters building at 1640 S. Lindbergh Boulevard. The gift includes an additional $2 million dollars for the St. Louis County Library to curate educational programming that furthers the Library’s mission. The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced today that St. Louis County Library is among 30 finalists for the 2022 National Medal for Museum and Library Service. St. Louis County Library is the only institution in Missouri to be selected as a finalist for this award.

The St. Louis County Library Foundation will hold a Great Gatsby Celebration on Saturday, August 23, 2023 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The event will take place at The Reverie STL, located at 17089 N. Outer 40 Rd. in Chesterfield. Proceeds from the event will fund the Foundation’s literacy programs and community support initiatives.

St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor are  pleased to host a special event with two of the top authors in popular fiction both with new summer hits - bestselling novelists Beatriz Williams and Claire Lombardo.  The event will take place on Monday, July 8, 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis MO 63131.
