The St. Louis County Library Foundation, Left Bank Books, and the JCC of St. Louis are pleased to host an SLCL Authors @ the J event with Billy Busch, author of “Family Reins: The Extraordinary Rise and Epic Fall of an American Dynasty.” Friday, August 4, at 7:00 p.m. at the JCC’s Staenberg Family Center – Mirowitz Performing Arts Center, 2 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146. St. Louis County Library Foundation, the Saint Louis Science Center and The Novel Neighbor are pleased to host an event with Dr. Aomawa Shields, NASA astrobiologist and author of “Life on Other Planets: A Memoir of Finding My Way in the Universe.” The event will take place on Monday, July 17, 7:00 p.m. at the Saint Louis Science Center, Omnimax Theater, 5050 Oakland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.

St. Louis County Library will provide fresh produce from Operation Food Search at three library branches starting on Thursday, July 6. Produce boxes will be available at the Florissant Valley, Lewis & Clark and Weber Road branches on Thursdays starting at 8:30 a.m. Boxes are distributed curbside in branch parking lots. There is a limit of one box per family. The program will run through August 3, 2023.
