The Novel Creations Pop-Up Market Series is an immersive eight-week marketing course crafted to jump into the realms of visual merchandising, direct and viral marketing, brand construction, and promotional material design, culminating in a public pop-up market. Applications will be accepted July 20-August 20.

St. Louis County Library will provide fresh produce boxes at Florissant Valley, Lewis & Clark and Weber Road on Thursday, July 18 and Thursday, July 25 starting at 8:30 a.m. Boxes are distributed curbside in branch parking lots. There is a limit of one box per vehicle, and supplies are limited.

Eye Thrive will offer free eye exams and glasses at two SLCL locations this summer. Any child age 4-18 is eligible for an eye exam and glasses. Capacity is limited. Exams begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

St. Louis County Library and Saint Louis Fashion Fund will host a ticketed reception and screening of "Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge" on Tuesday, July 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Post Event Space at the Clark Family Branch. The evening kicks off with a red-carpet cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by the screening at 7:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to "Wear DVF" or something with color or pattern, like many of her iconic wrap dresses. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased through Eventbrite.

The new Clark Family Branch, located at 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Ladue, will open to the public on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the branch will open to the public immediately following.
