SLCL Presents Cozy Con 2023 – A Celebration of the Cozy Mystery Genre
St. Louis County Library’s Favorite Author Series and the Novel Neighbor present Cozy Con 2023 - celebrating the light, humorous subgenre of suspense fiction.
The event will take place on Friday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Grant’s View Branch, 9700 Musick Rd., St. Louis MO, 63123.
The program is free and open to the public. The Novel Neighbor will have books for sale as well as socks, candles, tea and other cozy items perfect for snuggling up with a great book!
Cozy Con 2023 will feature popular authors:
Vivien Chien - “Misfortune Cookie”
Author of the Noodle Shop Mystery, Vivien Chien presents the latest in her series about a pair of sisters solving mysteries from their family-owned Chinese restaurant.
Diane Kelly – “Snow Place for Murder”
Diane Kelly’s clever and humorous mystery series is set in a lodge in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Kelly is also the author of the popular Paw Enforcement Series and the House-Flipper Mysteries.
Mia P. Manansala – “Murder and Mamon”
Mia Manansala’s award-winning culinary cozy series follows the adventures of baking aficionado and amateur sleuth Lila Macapagal.
Ellie Alexander – “Catch Me If You Candy”
The seventeenth installment in Ellie Alexander’s popular Bakeshop Mystery Series sees her baker/sleuth investigating a murder on All Hallow’s Eve.
Korina Moss, “Case of the Bleus”
Set in a cheese shop in Sonoma Valley, Korina Moss’s culinary cozy is beloved for its quirky characters and puzzling mysteries. The first installment in the series, “Cheddar Off Dead,” won the Agatha Award for Best First Novel.
