Library Director Kristen Sorth Named 2023 St. Louis Titan 100
Titan CEO and headline sponsor Wipfli LLP are pleased to announce Kristen Sorth, St. Louis County Library Director & CEO, as a 2023 St. Louis Titan 100. The Titan 100 program recognizes St. Louis’s Top 100 CEO’s & C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry using criteria that includes demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion. Collectively the 2023 St. Louis Titan 100 and their companies employ more than 89,000 individuals and generate $26 billion dollars in annual revenues. Kristen Sorth became St. Louis County Library’s first female Director and CEO on November 19, 2013. Ms. Sorth has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She has worked for the library since 1998. The Library District has received many accolades under Sorth’s leadership. Most recently, the Library received the nation’s highest honor given to museums and libraries, the 2022 National Medal for Museum and Library Service. In addition, SLCL was named the 2022 Missouri Library of the Year by the Missouri Library Association.
Ms. Sorth will be honored at the annual Titan 100 awards celebration on April 6, 2023 at The Factory. This unique cocktail-style awards event will gather 100 Titans of Industry and their guests for an evening unlike anything that exists in the St. Louis business community.
