Eye Thrive will send its state-of-the-art Mobile Vision Clinic to five St. Louis County Library locations this summer to provide free eye exams and prescription glasses for kids ages 4-18. A parental consent form must be completed prior to the eye exam. Children will be examined on a first-come-first-served basis, capacity is limited. SLCL has partnered with Eye Thrive since 2019, using branch parking lots to host the mobile eye care unit. In 2022, almost 400 eye exams were administered, and over 450 free pairs of eyeglasses were provided to area kids.
