KWUR: Rock It to Radio City

KWUR is best known as the radio station for Washington University, but in the late 70s it was at the center of the growing St. Louis Punk scene. DJ’s Dave Thomas and Steve Scariano will discuss the station’s role in bringing Punk and New Wave music to Midwestern ears and how it served as a catalyst for new bands to form and a scene to grow.
