St. Louis County Library Receives Endowment from Kranzberg Arts Foundation
St. Louis County Library is partnering with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation to bring arts-based programming and cultural enrichment to County Library branches this fall. The programming is made possible by a $200,000 endowment from the Kranzberg Arts Foundation to the St. Louis County Library Foundation. The endowment will develop and utilize Library spaces for use as artistic venues and provide an arts based approach to community development. In addition to programming, the Library will host annual group exhibits featuring Kranzberg Arts Foundation visual artists-in-residence at the new Clark Family Branch (scheduled to open in late 2023). St. Louis County Library Named 2022 Missouri Library of the Year
St. Louis County Library has been named the 2022 Missouri Library of the Year for distinguished and outstanding work for the community by the Missouri Library Association. The award was presented during the Missouri Library Association’s annual conference on September 29, 2022 in Springfield, Missouri.

St. Louis County Library Recognized as a 2022 Recipient of Nation’s Highest Museum and Library Honor
The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced today that St. Louis County Library of St. Louis, MO is one of six recipients of the 2022 National Medal for Museum and Library Service, the nation’s highest honor given to museums and libraries that make significant and exceptional contributions to their communities. Over the past 28 years, the award has celebrated institutions that are making a difference for individuals, families, and communities.

St. Louis County Library’s New Ladue Branch to be Named for the Robert G. Clark Family
The Clark Family has made a $4 million donation to the St. Louis County Library and St. Louis County Library Foundation to be used toward the new library branch in Ladue. The new branch, to be named the Clark Family Branch, is expected to be completed in late 2023 and will replace the current Headquarters building at 1640 S. Lindbergh Boulevard. The gift includes an additional $2 million dollars for the St. Louis County Library to curate educational programming that furthers the Library’s mission. St. Louis County Library Named Finalist for 2022 IMLS National Medal for Museum and Library Service
The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced today that St. Louis County Library is among 30 finalists for the 2022 National Medal for Museum and Library Service. St. Louis County Library is the only institution in Missouri to be selected as a finalist for this award.
