Presented by Missouri State Parks
Journey back in time to the Pleistocene Epoch, when giant animals such as mastodons, mammoths, and saber tooth cats dominated the landscape. You’ll embark on a paleontological safari, where you’ll learn meet some of the megafauna—big animals—that once lived in Missouri. Along the way, you’ll discover the difference between archaeology and paleontology, and learn about the earliest human occupants of the area, too! This program will include an up-close look at fossils and replica skulls.
All ages. Registration recommended.
