How do I Get a Library Card?

Stop by any St. Louis County Library Branch and furnish identification (such as a driver's license) showing name, current address of the applicant. Library cards are free to those who live in or pay taxes to these Library Districts: (St. Louis County Library has reciprocal lending agreements with these libraries)

  • St. Louis County Library
  • Brentwood Public Library
  • Ferguson Public Library
  • Kirkwood Public Library
  • Maplewood Public Library
  • Richmond Heights Public Library
  • Rock Hill Public Library
  • St. Charles City-County Library
  • St. Louis (City) Public Library
  • University City Public Library
  • Valley Park Public Library
  • Webster Groves Public Library

A card is $50 per family, per year for anyone who lives outside St. Louis County, St. Louis City, or St. Charles County. (Certain exceptions apply.)
