located south of Fairgrounds
Park at the corner of St. Louis
and Garrison Avenues. Initial
records for this church are
titled "Church Record of
the English Evangelical Grace
Chapel," as it was the
first English-speaking Lutheran
church in St. Louis. In 1907 an
offshoot of this congregation
was built at Florissant and Fair
Avenues. In 1909 another group
of members separated to form the
new congregation of Pilgrim
Evangelical Lutheran Church.

microfilm reflects the records
for both locations of Grace
